Luke Littler defeated Ryan Searle 6-1 in the first semi-final at the World Darts Championship. Littler produced a tournament-best average of 105.35 and came within seven darts of a perfect nine-darter during the match. Littler entered the match as the defending champion and delivered a commanding performance. He commented on the mixed crowd reaction and praised Searle for an excellent tournament. The remaining semi-final will feature two-time champion Gary Anderson against 23-year-old Dutch player Gian van Veen to determine the other finalist.
