The Kremlin rejected proposed Ukrainian and European changes to the US peace deal and said such alterations could not improve it. Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev held talks with US diplomats in Florida, describing the discussions as constructive and saying they would continue. Diplomats remained in Miami seeking to end the war as Kyiv insisted that any deal trading territory for peace was unacceptable. Kyiv is strengthening European support after talks in Berlin to increase leverage in ongoing negotiations.
