Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine (Daniel Hernandez) turned himself in to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn to begin a 90-day jail term for violating probation by assaulting a man and possessing drugs. He publicly expressed hopes of encountering high-profile inmates including Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and accused CEO killer Luigi Mangione, mentioning dancing, playing cards and chess. He referenced past and prospective cellblock encounters with celebrities and controversial figures on Instagram. The MDC has housed inmates such as Ghislaine Maxwell, R. Kelly and Sean "Diddy" Combs. It remains uncertain whether meetings with Maduro or Mangione will occur.
