"Iran's warning was directed at Qatar's Mesaieed Petrochemical Complex, Mesaieed Holding Company and Ras Laffan Refinery; Saudi Arabia's Samref Refinery and Jubail Petrochemical Complex; and the United Arab Emirates's Al Hosn Gas Field."
"Qatar's Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the brutal Iranian targeting of Ras Laffan Industrial City. Qatar considers this assault a dangerous escalation, a flagrant violation of its sovereignty, and a direct threat to its national security."
"All personnel have been accounted for and no casualties have been reported at this time, the world's largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) producer added."
Iran launched missile attacks on Qatar's Ras Laffan Industrial City, the world's largest LNG producer, causing extensive damage. Qatar's Ministry of Interior and civil defence teams responded to fires at the facility. All personnel were accounted for with no casualties reported. Qatar's Foreign Ministry condemned the attack as a dangerous escalation, sovereignty violation, and national security threat. The strikes followed Iranian threats to target oil and gas facilities across the Gulf region in retaliation for Israeli attacks on Iran's South Pars gasfield. Qatar subsequently suspended LNG production following the assault on Ras Laffan and damage to a water tank at Mesaieed Industrial City.
