He said he condemns all the killing of innocent people, naming Sudan, Palestine and Ukraine as examples and calling such violence a human problem. He also gave a speech supporting Palestinian children at a charity event in Barcelona. The Jewish Representative Council of Greater Manchester criticized Guardiola, urging prominent individuals to be mindful of their words and saying he should focus on football. The council said Manchester City are being let down by his repeated commentary on international affairs.
