A Spirit Airlines pilot received a stern air traffic control rebuke for not following vectoring instructions and for getting too close to Air Force One. Radio transmissions show repeated commands to turn 20 degrees right and an instruction to "Pay attention!" ATC warned that Air Force One was off the Spirit plane's left wing by "6, uh, 8 miles" and ordered Spirit to maintain FL330, then to descend and maintain FL270 expedited. The Spirit flight was en route from Fort Lauderdale to Boston. Air Force One transported the president to London and landed at London Stansted before a Marine One transfer to central London.
