Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib condemned the New York Times for platforming Hasan Piker. Alkhatib described Piker as "a horrible pro-Jihad, pro-Hamas, pro-Houthi, pro-resistance' personality" who allegedly incited violence and provoked death threats that required FBI intervention. Alkhatib said the outlet refused to publish his anti-Hamas, pro-peace viewpoint as unrepresentative of Palestinians. Alkhatib accused the outlet of blocking Gazans from speaking while elevating non-Palestinian pro-terror voices and criticized the perceived double standard in who receives prominent media platforms.
