Nathan Lyon was omitted from Australia's XI for the Brisbane Test, ending a 13-year run of home-Test selection and prompting anger and disappointment. Chair of selectors George Bailey labelled the change a one-Test decision and guaranteed Lyon a place for the Adelaide Test.
