JKN Global has faced major balance sheet problems since 2023, defaulting on payments and filing for rehabilitation in 2024, with reported debts of about 3 billion baht. Thailand's SEC sanctioned Jakrajutatip and JKN Global for publishing false or misleading financial information and fined them 4 million baht. JKN did not fully disclose a deal to sell 50 percent of its Miss Universe shares to Raul Rocha Cantu's Legacy Holding Group.
