Japan has signed its largest arms export deal with Australia, involving the sale of 11 Mogami-class frigates for $6.5 billion. This agreement marks Japan's first warship export since lifting its post-World War II ban on arms sales. Three frigates will be built in Japan, with the remaining eight constructed in Western Australia.
