He was released on December 8 while we sent the case to the Naha District Public Prosecutors Office, the Okinawa police official Tetsuya Shimoji said."

He was released on December 8 while the case was sent to the Naha District Public Prosecutors Office and prosecutors continue to investigate. A representative said Harris was released without charges and planned to remain in Japan to work on a project.
