Israel’s Defence Minister and Prime Minister said Israeli forces targeted Odeh. The Israeli army stated the strike followed months of intelligence monitoring. A hospital source reported six deaths and 20 injuries from attacks on the Remal neighborhood in Gaza City, where explosions hit a busy market area ahead of Eid.
