Khamenei called US admissions a confession and warned that the US will not succeed in changing Iran's government. He rejected demands that Iran abandon nuclear energy or move to zero uranium enrichment and used religious symbolism to contrast Iranian loyalty with perceived corrupt US leaders. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said indirect Geneva talks were serious and constructive, producing some agreed guiding principles and plans to draft a document.
