"There is no undeclared nuclear enrichment in Iran. All of our facilities are under the safeguards and monitoring"
"There is no enrichment right now because our facilities our enrichment facilities have been attacked."
"Iran's right for enrichment, for peaceful use of nuclear technology, including enrichment, is undeniable,"
"We have this right and we continue to exercise that and we hope that the international community, including the United States, recognize our rights and understand that this is an inalienable right of Iran and we would never give up our rights."
Tehran reports that uranium enrichment is not occurring at any site and that all nuclear facilities are under International Atomic Energy Agency safeguards and monitoring. Enrichment activities were halted because enrichment facilities were attacked in June. Iran maintains an undeniable right to enrich uranium for peaceful nuclear technology and intends to continue exercising that right while seeking international recognition, including from the United States. A three-day visa was issued to an Associated Press reporter to attend a summit hosted by Iran's Institute for Political and International Studies titled "International Law Under Assault: Aggression and Self-Defense," which presented Tehran's view of the 12-day June war.
