Iran: Data show partial restoration of internet connectivity
Iranian authorities partially restored internet connectivity after shutting it down for nearly three months amid the war with Israel and the US. Iran’s vice president Mohammad Reza Aref said the government has taken the first steps to restore internet access. Tehran warned the US against “violation” of a ceasefire. US top diplomat Marco Rubio said an Iran deal could “take a few days.” Rubio’s comments came after US strikes were launched in southern Iran. In Lebanon, Israeli forces began operating beyond the “Yellow Line” in south Lebanon, according to military sources. Israel and Hezbollah continued exchanging fire despite a ceasefire in effect since April 17. Israeli troops had previously operated inside the “Yellow Line,” where large-scale demolitions occurred.
