Around 137 deportees from a Gaza aid flotilla landed in Istanbul, including 36 Turkish nationals and activists from multiple countries. Deportees and participants accused Israeli forces of mistreating climate activist Greta Thunberg, alleging she was dragged, forced to kiss or wrapped in an Israeli flag, paraded and used as propaganda. Several detainees reported being denied food, clean water and medication, forced to drink from toilets, and held in very hot conditions. Witnesses described bloodstained prison walls and messages from previous detainees, including mothers writing their children's names on the walls.
