Singapore's Ministry of Home Affairs issued Implementation Directives requiring Google and Apple to prevent account and group-chat names that spoof "gov.sg" or Singapore government agencies and to filter such messages. The Directives also require profile names of unknown senders to be hidden or displayed less prominently than phone numbers to help users identify unknown senders, and they carry fines up to S$1 million plus S$100,000 per day for noncompliance. India aims to develop a commercial plane-making industry, using the 19-seat SARAS Mk-2 as an initial step and planning larger aircraft over the long run. South Korean authorities indicted 19 people over a datacenter fire that caused outages, alleging negligence in insulation and power shutdowns. Authorities are also investigating a leak of over 30 million customer records from e-tailer Coupang.
