"So, as life moves forward, what are you prepared to leave behind?"
"I am 65 years old, and I am asking just that. I am no longer who I used to think I was. Not even close to 'What' other people or 'Who' other people think I am."
"I told the truth; I needed the money. While many people may have built businesses and sold them for a profit, I had my medals, which I am grateful for,"
"I am VERY happy with whom I sold it to. I thanked and blessed the house to bring joy, love, peace, happiness, and a sense of safety to those who entered the house."
Greg Louganis, aged 65, sold three Olympic medals and his California home before relocating to Panama. The three medals fetched more than $430,000 at auction according to Cllct.com. He indicated that he needed the money and expressed gratitude for the medals. He sold his house to buyers he said made him very happy and he blessed the house to bring joy, love, peace, happiness and a sense of safety to occupants. Devastating Los Angeles fires, including the Woolsey and Palisades fires that destroyed the homes of people he knew, inspired the decision to change location and start anew. Louganis is openly gay and disclosed his HIV-positive status in 1995.
