Capgemini operates in about 50 countries and is one of France's largest listed companies. The group held an extraordinary board meeting following parliamentary questions and government calls for transparency. Capgemini announced the divestiture process for its US unit, Capgemini Government Solutions, which had a disputed contract with ICE to identify foreigners on US soil and track their locations. The contract, awarded in December, is the subject of an appeal. The killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti by ICE and CBP agents in Minneapolis triggered international condemnation and scrutiny. The subsidiary accounts for 0.4 percent of projected 2025 global revenue and under 2 percent of US revenue. Campaign group Multinationals Observatory revealed the ICE contract.
