Fox Guest Stunned by Martha MacCallum's Interview with Iranian President: I Am Shaking Because You Are Talking to a Terrorist'

"Masih Alinejad, an Iranian-American journalist and women's rights activist, was visibly distraught as she watched a clip of Fox's Martha MacCallum's interview with Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian, telling MacCallum on-air Friday that she was shaking because you are talking to a terrorist. Look, I'm shaking, said Alinejad when MacCallum asked her on The Story With Martha MacCallum to respond to the president's claim that conditions for women are improving in Iran."

"You are talking to a terrorist. We don't call him president. She went on to tell MacCallum passionately that if she had asked to shake his hand, he would definitely say no. The same day you interviewed Pezeshkian, an Iranian activist was killed in prison, she continued, referring to 42-year-old Someyeh Rashidi, who died on Thursday after months of being denied proper care."

"In June, the U.S. military attacked Iranian Nuclear facilities, with President Donald Trump calling the bombings very successful. However, in the days after the attack, experts warned Iran still had major Nuclear capabilities and that the damage was less severe than the Trump administration claimed. In the clip from MacCallum's interview, which airs in full on Sunday, the president claims Iran has not been the initiator of aggression against any countries and that the idea that Iran is aggressive is a mindset propagated by Israel."

Alinejad watched an interview with Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian and told the host she was shaking because 'you are talking to a terrorist,' refusing to call him president. She said he would refuse a handshake and cited the death of 42-year-old activist Someyeh Rashidi, who died in prison after months of denied care, occurring the same day as the interview. She alleged that while Pezeshkian appeared at the United Nations, the Iranian regime tested missiles.
