Other eyewitnesses and I began the rescue and flagged down oncoming vehicles to assist. A few minutes after the crash, officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps arrived."

Anthony Joshua was involved in a collision on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway in Ogun State around 11am local time when a vehicle carrying him collided with a stationary truck. Eyewitnesses and images showed debris strewn on the road, onlookers, and footage of Joshua looking dazed and in pain. Two occupants of the other vehicle died at the scene while Joshua sustained minor injuries. Eyewitnesses reported the convoy included a Lexus and a Pajero and that bystanders and Federal Road Safety Corps personnel assisted at the scene. Joshua had posted playing table tennis earlier and his promoter said he appears OK while more information is awaited.
