"Trump launched the board with a signing ceremony in Davos, Switzerland, on Thursday, during the annual summit of the World Economic Forum, another international body that has increasingly presented itself as an alternative to the UN system. Members of the board include Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is accused of war crimes by the International Criminal Court and whose forces have killed more than 300 staff members from the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA, in Gaza."

The White House has withdrawn the US from dozens of UN bodies while advancing an America First agenda and named controversial figures, including Benjamin Netanyahu, to the Board of Peace.
