"A 14-year-old boy has been hospitalised after he was attacked by a crocodile while fishing at a beach in far north Queensland, authorities said. He sustained wounds to his leg and torso on Saturday afternoon at Myall beach, Cape Tribulation, a small coastal community 140km north of Cairns, a Queensland ambulance service spokesperson said. The teenager was in a stable condition on Monday, the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service confirmed."
"After the attack, the teenager was carried along a beach boardwalk which links directly to PK's Jungle Village, a coastal property with accommodation for travellers, according to the resort general manager, Ashlee Piper. First aid was administered by staff and a nurse staying at the property. Piper said the boy was very lucky. Onlookers and locals heard cries for help, she said. Initially an ambulance was called after realising the severity triple zero was called again and a helicopter was sent."
