Aryna Sabalenka defeated Elena Svitolina 6-2, 6-3 in 76 minutes to reach her fourth consecutive Australian Open final. Sabalenka will face Elena Rybakina in a rematch of the 2023 final, after Rybakina beat Jessica Pegula 6-3, 7-6 (9/7). Both finalists reached the title match without dropping a set, the first occurrence in the women's singles at Melbourne since Justine Henin and Kim Clijsters in 2004. Svitolina had beaten Coco Gauff and Mirra Andreeva to reach the semi-finals. Sabalenka applied pressure throughout the match and expressed satisfaction that her level was there when needed.
