Anthony Kim takes LIV Golf Adelaide for first win since 2010
"For it to actually happen is pretty insane,"
"I just want to thank all the people that have supported me."
"I was able to produce some good golf today, and I knew it was coming,"
"Nobody else has to believe in me but me. And, for anybody that's struggling, you can get through anything."
Anthony Kim won LIV Golf Adelaide with a closing 9-under 63, finishing three shots clear and ending at 23-under par. The 40-year-old made four straight birdies on holes 12-15, holing putts of 17, 11, 14 and 17 feet, and ran in a 15-footer on the par-4 17th. He missed a 20-foot birdie attempt on 18 to finish one stroke shy of the course record. Kim stepped away from competitive golf for 12 years amid drug and alcohol struggles and had to play a qualifying tournament last month to rejoin the LIV Tour. Jon Rahm finished second after a 71, while Bryson DeChambeau, Tyrell Hatton and Peter Uihlein tied for third at 17-under. The all-Australian Ripper team won the team event for the second straight week.
