Anthony Joshua was injured in a car crash in Nigeria that killed two of his longtime trainers and friends, Sina Ghami and Kevin "Latif" Ayodele. Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu said he spoke with Joshua, offered condolences, and noted that Joshua is conscious and receiving the best possible medical care. The crash occurred 10 days after Joshua's knockout victory over Jake Paul while Joshua was on holiday in Nigeria. Jake Paul and Matchroom Boxing offered condolences. Matchroom confirmed the fatalities, said Joshua sustained injuries and is in stable condition under observation, and requested privacy. Joshua has not issued a statement.
