After Tehran strikes, Trump says Israel won't attack Iran gas fields anymore

Qatari officials immediately contacted White House envoy Steve Witkoff demanding clarification about U.S. prior knowledge. Trump subsequently claimed on Truth Social that the U.S. had no knowledge of the Israeli strike and that Qatar was uninvolved. However, U.S. and Israeli officials contradicted Trump's statements, confirming that Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu coordinated the strike, which aimed to deter Iran from disrupting oil supplies through the Strait of Hormuz.
