Fleetwood briefly led after the 16th, but Rai leveled on the 17th, missed a closing birdie, then prevailed in the Yas Links playoff. Rory McIlroy carded a 10-under 62, his lowest-ever DP World Tour round, finishing one shot short in a tie for third with Hjgaard.
