Psychologists Found Something Horrible About the Kind of Men Seeking Trad Wives
""We were taken aback," Rachael Robnett, a psychologist at the University of Nevada and lead author of the study told the Times of London of the finding."
""The type of man who strongly supports the tradwife movement is probably not what people would expect," Robnett noted, highlighting the unexpected nature of the study's results."
A study from the University of Nevada surveyed nearly 600 American men aged 18 to 29 to understand their support for the tradwife movement. Researchers found that hostile sexism, defined as negative beliefs about women, was a key factor in this support. Contrary to expectations, benevolent sexism was not the primary driver. Additionally, heightened religiosity and themes of heterosexual intimacy were also strong indicators of support for traditional lifestyles among these men.
