Dr. Malika Reed Wilkins will serve as the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of WTS International beginning August 18, 2025. With over 25 years of expertise in nonprofit management, public policy, and strategic communications, she previously held leadership roles at the Atlanta Regional Commission. Dr. Wilkins has also worked with the Georgia Department of Human Services and contributed significantly to launching the Georgia Transportation Infrastructure Bank. Her past service includes presidency at WTS Atlanta, leading the chapter to recognition for excellence while increasing sponsorship revenue and forming key partnerships.
Dr. Malika Reed Wilkins has been appointed as the next Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of WTS International and the WTS Foundation, effective August 18, 2025.
She brings over 25 years of leadership experience in nonprofit management, public policy, and strategic marketing and communications.
Wilkins previously served as Chief Strategy Officer and Chief External Affairs Officer at the Atlanta Regional Commission, overseeing enterprise strategy and corporate engagement.
Her previous leadership roles include positions at the Georgia Department of Human Services and the State Road and Tollway Authority, where she initiated the Georgia Transportation Infrastructure Bank.
