The Toronto Tempo has signed all-star Brittney Sykes, along with guards Marina Mabrey and Julie Allemand, as part of their preparations for the inaugural WNBA season. All three players have multi-year contracts. Sykes averaged 14.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, and four assists last season. Mabrey, selected sixth overall, averaged 14.4 points and 4.2 rebounds last season. Allemand, taken second overall, has contributed significantly in her career and helped Belgium win EuroBasket titles in 2023 and 2025.
