The evening celebration featured traditional gallo pinto, music, dancing, and national pride, showcasing cultural elements integral to Nicaraguan heritage.
Daniel Guevara, the national director, stated that the organization aims to raise the pageant's standard of excellence and position it among the best in the region.
The final gala to crown Miss Universe Nicaragua will be held on Sept. 4 at the James L. Knight Center in downtown Miami.
Glennys Medina Segura, representing Rivas, is among the 16 candidates, all aiming to represent their regions and showcase Nicaraguan beauty and talent.
