Girl guide who became 'life and soul' of unit wins 300 award

Poppy, a 15-year-old girl guide from the 1st Theydon Bois Guides, recently received the Jack Petchey Achievement Award for her exemplary positivity and caring nature. After relocating to the UK from Cameroon, she quickly became an essential member of her guide unit. Poppy is recognized for her fun, happy, and inclusive personality. She decided to allocate her £300 grant towards funding a paddleboarding session for her unit at Essex Outdoors as part of her contributions to the group.
