"Set 331 for victory in the Women's Cricket World Cup group-stage game, Australia reached their target with six balls to spare after Ellyse Perry guided her side home with an unbeaten 47 alongside Kim Garth. The victory, their third in four matches, lifted Australia to the top of the standings while hosts India are third after suffering a second straight defeat, having lost to South Africa earlier."
"Really proud of the group, said Healy. A little bit tight at the back end. We have been preaching about the depth in our lineup, the fact that we could chase 330 [proved it]. Full credit to our bowlers for pulling it back; we could have been chasing 360-plus. I was trying to lock in for a big day. To contribute heavily was great, I would have liked to stay a bit longer but the girls got the job done."
Alyssa Healy scored 142 as Australia chased 331 to complete a record women's one-day international chase, winning by three wickets with six balls remaining. Ellyse Perry returned after retiring hurt to finish an unbeaten 47 and guide Australia home alongside Kim Garth. India posted 330 after a 155-run opening stand between Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal, then collapsed losing nine wickets for 138; Annabel Sutherland took five wickets to trigger the slide. Healy shared brisk partnerships with Phoebe Litchfield and Ashleigh Gardner and Australia moved to the top of the standings.
