A Champagne Index compared the price of a 125ml glass of house non-vintage brut across luxury hotels and airport bars in ten international cities. The analysis found dramatic variation by city and even for identical labels served in different capitals, driven by geography, prestige, and local drinking culture. Dubai topped the index at an average of $49 per glass, with the most expensive single pour at $64. New York averaged $37 per glass, with many five-star hotels charging around $40. Other destinations showed surprising pockets of value and price parity between traditional luxury centers such as London and Paris.
