Erin Jackson spent more than a decade as a competitive inline skater in Florida, winning 47 national titles and 12 world championship medals. At age 25 she switched to ice speed skating to pursue an Olympic pathway, embracing humility and learning from coaches and younger skaters. Coach Renee Hildebrand instilled grit and determination that fueled intensified training. Jackson relocated to Salt Lake City in September 2017 to focus on Olympic qualification and earned a spot at the 2018 Winter Games, later winning Olympic gold and continuing preparations for the 2026 Winter Games with focused pregame routines.
