The one-hour class introduces participants to IMPACT Bay Area's empowerment self-defense methods, focusing on developing intuition, situational awareness, and verbal de-escalation techniques. Participants learn two effective physical self-defense techniques. The class is available for free to adults of all genders and takes place every second Monday from 7 pm to 8 pm at Sports Basement in Berkeley, CA. Students who complete the class receive a discount toward a full-length Basics course. An RSVP is mandatory to attend due to limited space.
