Kadence Theme Header Bottom Row - How to Force Single Full-Width Column (3-Column Layout Stuck)
"I'm using the Kadence theme on my fan site (a Dutch Bros Coffee menu guide - independent, not official). I'm trying to create a beautiful full-width hero section in the header using the Header → Bottom Row in the Customizer. The problem: Kadence locks every header row to 3 columns (Left / Center / Right) - there is no option in the General or Design tab to change it to 1 column or remove columns."
"What I've tried so far: Emptied the Left and Right sections completely (no widgets/items) Set row Layout to FullWidth Set background image to Cover, no repeat, center Used CSS to hide left/right (display: none !important; width: 0 !important;) Forced center to width: 100% !important; But even after all that, the background image is still constrained to the center column width - it doesn't stretch full edge-to-edge like a true single-column hero."
The Kadence header bottom row is locked to three columns (Left/Center/Right) with no built-in control to convert it to a single-column hero. The site owner emptied left/right areas, set the row Layout to FullWidth, applied a cover background, and added CSS to hide left/right and force center to 100%, but the background still remains constrained to the center column. The visible result is a boxed hero instead of an edge-to-edge banner. The objective is a full-bleed background with only center content centered and visible, and questions focus on hidden Kadence settings, CSS overrides, and workarounds without a page Cover block.
