"The panel includes 11 blood biomarkers that can give insights into aspects such as cycle regulation and hormonal transitions: Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH), Progesterone, Prolactin, and Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies (TPOAb), Free T4, Free T3, Leptin, Vitamin B12 (Cobalamin), Folate, Magnesium, and Phosphate (as Phosphorus)."
"The company claims measuring these biomarkers will help users understand more about perimenopause, thyroid function, nutrient sufficiency, and bone metabolic resilience, when paired with data on activity, sleep, and recovery."
"The Whoop apps' new Hormonal Symptom Insights and Predictions feature creates a model of hormonal changes over menstrual cycles based on previous data. It uses this model to predict possible date windows for the next period, give insights into cycle lengths, period length and irregularities, and detail individual symptom patterns."
Whoop is expanding its Whoop Labs blood testing service with a new women's health panel containing 11 biomarkers including AMH, progesterone, prolactin, thyroid markers, and nutrient indicators. The panel aims to provide insights into perimenopause, thyroid function, nutrient levels, and bone health when combined with activity, sleep, and recovery data. Simultaneously, Whoop introduced a Hormonal Symptom Insights and Predictions feature in its app that models hormonal changes across menstrual cycles using historical data. This feature predicts period dates, tracks cycle length and irregularities, and identifies symptom patterns. The company can correlate lab results with app data to categorize biomarkers as optimal, sufficient, or out of range. The service launches next month, following strong demand with over 350,000 people on the waitlist when blood testing launched in September 2025.
