Oura Ring 5 launches as world's smallest smart ring at $399

Ring 5 is a smart ring 40% smaller than its predecessor, measuring 6.09mm wide and 2.29mm thick, and weighing as little as 2 grams depending on size. It retains the same sensor accuracy and provides up to nine days of battery life. The ring is available for preorder starting immediately, priced from $399 for black and silver and $499 for additional finishes, with shipping beginning June 4. Oura membership is required at $5.99 per month or $69.99 per year. Health Radar uses AI to continuously track biometric signals such as body temperature, respiratory rate, and heart rate variability, surfacing alerts when patterns suggest strain. Blood Pressure Signals detect shifts and patterns correlated with cardiovascular strain, without directly measuring blood pressure.
