My favorite hybrid smartwatch has a 30-day battery life and a gorgeous look
"The is an interesting hybrid device because it looks like a regular watch (complete with analog hands), but it has features you would normally see on a smartwatch, like an OLED screen and health tracking features. How often do you charge your smartwatch? Once or twice every day? Too often? Doing so regularly often makes me wonder exactly how much value I'm getting out of those occasional notifications and alerts, and it's a big reason why I still have an affection for hybrid smartwatches."
"Also: I've tested every Garmin smartwatch in 2025 - this is the model I recommend to most people One of these is the first Withings ScanWatch, released in 2021. I've worn it regularly over the past couple of years, primarily because it feels fantastic on the wrist while capturing key health data. Each charge can last up to one month."
"At first glance, the newer is tough to distinguish from the original, but it packs a few important upgrades that make one of my go-to health trackers even better. I tested the ScanWatch 2 in Black (pictured below), but it is also available in Pearl White for the larger size. The Black model features hands with a Super LumiNova coating, allowing them to glow in the dark for a short time after exposure to light."
The ScanWatch 2 pairs traditional analog hands with an internal OLED display and multiple health sensors. The device offers ECG and activity monitoring while maintaining a classic wristwatch aesthetic. Battery life reaches up to one month per charge, reducing daily charging common to full smartwatches. The 42mm model weighs about 52 grams and fits gently on the wrist. The Black model includes Super LumiNova-coated hands that glow briefly after light exposure. The 38mm size comes in Pearl White, Black, Sand, and Blue. Both sizes are priced at $349, eliminating a size-based premium.
