Loss of Pulse alerts are rolling out on Pixel Watch 3
Briefly

Google has begun rolling out the Loss of Pulse Detection feature for Pixel Watch 3 users in the U.S., a critical health monitoring capability that alerts emergency services if the device fails to detect a heartbeat. Initially announced last August, this feature has been available in Europe for several months but necessitated FDA clearance for its U.S. release, which was obtained in late February. Google has put significant effort into minimizing false alerts, testing the algorithm with over 100,000 hours of data. Users will be prompted to enable this opt-in feature over the coming weeks.
