Anker debuts Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro earbuds with its Thus AI chip - Engadget

Anker introduced the Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro and Liberty 5 Pro Max earbuds featuring the Thus AI chip. The chip works with eight microphones and two bone conduction sensors to improve voice performance in noisy environments. An AI model separates the speaker’s voice from background noise for clearer call audio. Bone conduction sensors capture the user’s voice at lower volumes in moderately quieter settings. The chip also enables voice commands with 20 options and a response time under a second. Both models include Adaptive ANC 4.0, which uses eight microphones to process audio up to 384,000 times per second and adjust noise cancellation in real time. HearID 5.0 provides personalized EQ through a brief hearing test, and AI Sound Enhancement restores audio.
