In the 2024-25 NBA season, the Houston Rockets achieved a solid 52-30 record, securing the #2 seed in the Western Conference playoffs, only to be eliminated by the Warriors in a seven-game first round. Despite this disappointing end, there’s renewed hope surrounding the team's future, bolstered by their promising young roster and experienced veterans including 38-year-old Jeff Green, who aspires to play 20 seasons in total, hoping to retire a Rocket after his current contract ends.
The goal is to get to 20 years (in the NBA), Houston has been home for me for the last couple years and I want to keep it that way.
Despite how the year ended, there is optimism for the Rockets moving forward. They have a young core of players that will continue to grow together.
