HBO's forthcoming Harry Potter series has officially cast its leading trio: Dominic McLaughlin as Harry, Arabella Stanton as Hermione, and Alastair Stout as Ron. Showrunner Francesca Gardiner and director Mark Mylod expressed their excitement over the extensive talent pool they encountered during the auditions, which attracted tens of thousands of young actors. In a statement about the casting, Harry Potter showrunner Francesca Gardiner and director / executive producer Mark Mylod said that they were delighted to have finally found their leads after 'an extraordinary search' that saw 'tens of thousands of children' audition for the roles.
