Harry Potter series casts young actors to star as Hermione, Ron and Harry

HBO has announced the lead cast for its upcoming Harry Potter television adaptation. After a rigorous audition process that saw 32,000 children vying for the roles, newcomers Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton, and Alastair Stout will portray Harry, Hermione, and Ron, respectively. Each of the child actors brings unique experiences, including theatre productions. The show aims to provide a faithful adaptation of J.K. Rowling's books, with production already underway and other roles filled, including actors Paapa Essiedu and John Lithgow.
