He showed strong contact-oriented offense in lower minors, reaching High-A and posting a .295/.355/.470 line and 115 wRC+ by the end of 2022. His production fell at higher levels from 2023–2025, with a .265/.308/.385 minor-league line and a .252/.288/.410 mark in 146 MLB plate appearances. The Nationals gain a low-risk depth option with corner-infield experience who could be controlled if he gains service time and earns a role.
