Dodgers Rumors: Josh Byrnes Contacted For Nationals General Manager Role
"As the Washington Nationals look for a new head of baseball operations, the club has contacted Chicago Cubs general manager Carter Hawkins, Arizona Diamondbacks executive Amiel Sawdaye and Los Angeles Dodgers senior vice president Josh Byrnes, according to league sources briefed on the search. The Nationals also are believed to have interviewed Boston Red Sox assistant general manager Eddie Romero as well. Byrnes is in his 10th season with the Dodgers, where he supervises the club's scouting and player development, among other responsibilities."
