Trump reacted to musicians backing out of the Freedom 250 concert series by suggesting he could replace them. Artists originally announced for the Great American State Fair tied to the U.S. 250th birthday have since withdrawn, including Young MC and Bret Michaels and Martina McBride. In a Truth Social post, Trump accused the artists of having “the yips” and claimed the event would be the number one attraction worldwide. He boasted that he draws larger audiences than Elvis Presley in his prime and said he performs without a guitar. He promised a major speech and rallying message, then ordered representatives to assess feasibility of an “AMERICA IS BACK Rally” in Washington, D.C. at the same time and location, inviting only “Great Patriots.”
