Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy expressed criticism of the Pentagon for its use of Black Hawk helicopters that caused commercial flights to divert near Washington's Reagan National Airport. The FAA reported two flights had to go around due to the helicopter's presence. This incident follows a midair collision that resulted in 67 fatalities. Duffy questioned the necessity of high-ranking military personnel using helicopters and called for transparency on who qualifies to use military airspace, suggesting a disconnect between their transportation choices and those of civilians in the government.
The DOD has promised radical transparency, they should tell us who is qualified to take a helicopter out of the Pentagon.
Why do they have to take helicopters to go to meetings? The top brass at the White House, they take a Suburban, or a Tesla, or they take their own car.
